Ighermia pinifolia (Maire & Wilczek) Wilkund
Subshrub up to 1.5 m in height, branched from the base, with glabrescent branches, glutinous especially in the younger parts. Leaves alternate, linear; the upper leaves shortly petiolate and with entire or subentire margin; the lower leaves subsessile and with teeth very spaced apart along the margin, all of them green, glabrous and glutinous. Capitula 2-3 cm in diameter, solitary, terminal, shortly pedunculate or sessile, surrounded by involucral leaves similar to the cauline leaves and much longer than the involucre. Involucre with 2-3 rows of imbricate bracts. Flowers yellow; outer flowers in ray florets and female, glandulose on the outside; the rest of the flowers tubular and hermaphrodite. Fruit a slightly obconical achene, arched, truncated at the apex, glabrous, with clear ribs.

April to June.
Habitat:
Stony arid subdesert grasslands, rocky-stony beds and margins of dry rivers, streams and wadis.
Distribution:
Endemic to the SW of Morocco; for the moment, it is known between Guelmin, Assa and Fum el Hassan.
Conservation status:
Rare species with a small distribution area. Currently, it has not been assessed at a global level in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
