CAPPARACEAE Juss. (Incl. CAPPARIDACEAE Juss.)

Familia compuesta por 34 géneros y unas 450 especies de árboles, arbustos, lianas y raramente hierbas, de repartición tropical y subtropical, con una pequeña representación en la región mediterránea. En el N de África existen 4 géneros compuestos por especies arbóreas y arbustivas.
