ADOXACEAE E. Mey. (Incl. SAMBUCACEAE Link y VIBURNACEAE Dum.)

Famille composée de 5 genres et environ 200 espèces de plantes herbacées pérennes et, plus fréquemment, d’arbustes et arbres, réparties dans les régions tempérées et tropicales de presque toute la planète. Les espèces ligneuses sont représentées dans le N. de l’Afrique par 2 genres, Sambucus et Viburnum, présentant tous deux des espèces arbustives.
