Pluchea Cass.

Genre comprenant environ 56 espèces, réparties principalement dans les zones tropicales et subtropicales de presque toute la planète. Il est représenté par 2 espèces dans le N. de l’Afrique, toutes deux à écologie tropicale : P. ovalis, qui s’étend au N.-O. jusqu’au S. du Maroc, et P. dioscoridis, qui par le N.-E. parvient pratiquement jusqu’à la Méditerranée au travers de l’Égypte.
