Convolvulus L.

Género integrado por unas 72 especies, ampliamente distribuidas por las regiones templadas y subtropicales del mundo. En el N de África consta de 36 especies, principalmente herbáceas. De entre ellas, por su mayor lignificación de sus tallos, sólo 3 pueden considerarse arbustivas o subarbustivas.
